The Outfit
The outfit for this cosplay is relatively simple – comprised of a pair of leather pants and a leather jacket with some armor on the shoulders and elbows. I used this pattern from Salmonprops on Etsy – which includes the neck collar pattern as well.
I made the pants out of left over PU Leather I had laying around from another project and I used this pattern from FreeSewing
The shoulder pads are made from 5mm EVA foam and covered with a layer of white upholstery vinyl, then completed with 3D printed diamond accent pieces. The elbow pads are also made from 5mm EVA foam and were covered with a red knit fabric I had left over from another project, I added the same kind of 3D printed accent pieces to finish the look. These armor pieces were then E6000’d to a faux leather jacket that I had (either thrifted or gifted to me).
The Stereo Collar
For the stereo collar neck piece, I used this pattern from Salmonprops on Etsy and added working bluetooth speaker functionality using 2 cheap speakers that I got at FiveBelow and tore apart for their electronics.
I primed my neck piece with FlexSeal spray and then painted it with silver spray paint. The front buttons and accent piece were 3D printed and attached with contact cement and/or hot glue.
The Wig
I ended up creating a separate post to go in depth for this wig – the post links to a short video tutorial series and lists all of the materials and processes I used to create this giant wig.
