Description: Learn how to use high-density EVA foam to create props for costumes. This will be a hands-on workshop to cover the fundamentals of reading patterns, marking and cutting EVA foam sheets, understanding terminology, and how to assemble your foam pieces. Patterns will be provided.
Attendees will go home with their foam projects at the end of the workshop (finished or not) and will be given a booklet with notes, tips, and tricks for reference on future foamsmithing projects.
* = Children under 12 and their parent/guardian count as 1 person. Children older than 12 must be signed up separately.

Important Notice
Due to the use of razor blades and other sharp tools and chemicals, agreeing to the waiver is required to participate in this workshop.
Attendees without a waiver will not be allowed to participate in activities involving sharp instruments or chemicals.
While this workshop is open to all ages, it is recommended that participants be 15 or older.
Ultimately, we ask that participants are old enough to safely and responsibly handle sharp instruments without constant monitoring or supervision and follow written/spoken instructions.
What to expect…
We will be learning how to read an EVA foam pattern, how to transfer patterns to foam, the ins and outs of cutting and assembling foam pieces, and will be building an EVA foam witch hat to celebrate the spooky season!
